We both enjoyed it, the place is small and suited us fine. The venue was minutes from Inverness downtown.
-
The location is picturesque, the breakfast is also satisfactory. Loved quick check-in and efficient check-out.
-
Reasonable base for 4 nights. Very tidy place in original style with all necessary facilities. The hotel was in a shopping area. Being near la tortilla asesina was nice, we had dinner there.
-
Excellent location, easy stroll to town and in slight distance to restaurants + car parking was free

We appreciated our 2 nights stay. The staff and food are ideal! Bathroom with shower facilities, a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries and a bathtub. It was short walk from Inverness city centre.

We would definitely visit it again, this hotel met the demands. We really loved NICE atmosphere and service. Btw, their manager is top! The comfort single room had everything you need, air conditioning, an electronic key card and ironing facilities.

The room was calm, we would not hesitate to return here. Tasty breakfast, great staff; magnificent location. The bed was comfortable and large.

Having stayed at this hotel a number of times, I was sadly disappointed with the overall visit. The first room we were offered was very small and in the ground floor. The “view” from our room was over looking the smoking area - not a pretty sight! We requested a change of room and were duly allocated a room upstairs with a slightly better outlook. The room was still very small and the bathroom had no fan or ventilation which resulted in the whole room becoming full of condensation after each shower. The windows were locked which was not only resulted in no fresh air bring afforded to the room, it was also more worryingly a potential fire escape hazard. The breakfast was served cold and promptly returned and a fresh one presented. This took over 40 minutes to be served - by which time we were rather hungry and fed up! After being delighted with our room on previous visits the whole exist left us rather disappointed and I doubt that we shall return. The whole hotel seemed rather tired and in need of a lick of paint. The manager was helpful, however seemed to lack the experience to take on board our concerns and deal with them accordingly. Upon being presented with the bill, I pointed out that we had not been asked if everything was ok? I then informed the desk assistant that it had not been a satisfactory visit and told him of the issues that we had encountered at breakfast. It was only then that we received an apology and only after I suggested that a reduction in cost would be appropriate that we were offered the price of one breakfast be deducted. Not a very generous offer considering our lengthy wait.
The plus side of this hotel was the very well stocked bar.
Expensive given the quality of accommodation on offer.
